It is a multiple light source that combines long life and high spectrum output within the spectral bandwidth required for power bleaching. The unit uses proprietary LEDs to produce energy in the visible spectrum. The custom filtering of the LumaCool delivers the bandwidth of the light matching response curve for the bleach activation. LumaCool whitening system whitens both arches at the same time.
LumaCool provides a uniform whitening wavelength with virtually no heat.
Conscious Sedation, Deep Sedation, and General Anesthesia
Anxiety and pain can be modified by both psychological and pharmacological techniques. In some instances, psychological approaches are sufficient. However, in many instances, pharmacological approaches are required.
Local anesthetics are used to control regional pain. Sedative drugs and techniques may control fear and anxiety, but do not by themselves fully control pain and, thus, is commonly used in conjunction with local anesthetics. General anesthesia provides complete relief from both anxiety and pain.
The use of conscious sedation, deep sedation and general anesthesia in dentistry is safe and effective. The American Dental Association strongly supports the right of appropriately trained dentists to use these modalities for the management of dental patients and is committed to ensuring their safe and effective use.
Pathology (from Greek pathos, feeling, pain, suffering; and logos, study of; see also –ology) is the study of the processes underlying disease and other forms of illness, harmful abnormality, or dysfunction. Within biology but also a branch of medicine, it means specifically the study and diagnosis of the structural and functional changes in cells, tissues and organs that underlie disease. Pathology as a field of knowledge hence forms the basis of the scientific reasoning behind the practice of medicine.
A dental implant is a manufactured post that is designed to create a stable foundation for natural looking tooth restoration. Placed directly into the jawbone, a dental implant is the closest thing to your natural tooth.
There are two parts to a dental implant which simulate the strong holding ability of the tooth root. The main part of the dental implant is embedded in the jawbone for an effect that is vastly stronger than dentures are capable of. The second part of the dental implant is a post that protrudes above the jawbone and gum line, to provide a fixed point to attach the tooth restoration that will simulate the crown.
To replace one tooth, a single post is all that is required. For the replacement of multiple teeth, it might be necessary to place several dental implant posts.
Your implant dentist will discuss your treatment needs during your initial consultation.

To help you get a more beautiful smile, Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually move your teeth. You wear a set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. As you replace each set of aligners with the next in the series, your teeth will gradually move until they reach the position your doctor has prescribed for you. The average treatment time is about a year.
Our office is proud to offer a full range of orthodontic treatment options that addresses all orthodontic treatment needs.
